The Wizard of Sesame sends for Ali Baba so that he can carry the Sacred Crown of the Desert Kings to a nearby land who’s leader has come under the evil influence of Mustafa Bey. Knowing that whoever has the crown is the true leader of the people, Mustafa takes Ali Baba and his friends prisoner and tortures them to find out where they’ve hidden it. Breaking free, Ali, his buddies, and the Princess Lolo make their way to the Valley of the Spirits where the Spirit of Sinbad can protect them. With this other-worldly back-up, our heroes set about their final assault on Mustafa and his men but not before Lolo is kidnapped and about to be put to death with her father.

It’s pretty much a given that some where some how the hero of these films is going to get captured and tortured. If you like that sort of thing you’ll love this movie. Few heroes have gone through this much extensive torture. If seeing the under-rated ROD FLASH ILOOSH, (Ilush elsewhere) sweat and strain through mighty feats of strength isn’t enough, maybe his brief stint in drag is your cup of tea. It’s a well-paced, nicely produced Arabian adventure filled with a great balance of action, romance and cool little quirky fantasy elements that help fill the gaps the low budget leaves open.
Director EMIMMO SALVI also helmed Ali Baba and the Seven Saracens.
